I always have a large selection of metallic embroidery, laces and fringes, ecclesiastical robes, altar cloths and accessories.

There is always  a good selection of textiles suitable for hanging, from tapestries to woven panels to hand painted works of art.
Printed and woven examples in numerous styles from the early 1800's to Victorian and well past Art Nouveau and Art Deco.
On my many trips to Europe I have collected a large selection of these charming printings on silk that are well over 100 years old .

 


     Textile Artifacts was founded in 1984 by Paul Freeman, a self-taught “picker” with a wonderful eye for textiles of exceptional quality.  Initially, an antique generalist, Paul began specializing in textiles in 1980.  Now, after almost 20 years, he is renowned for purveying wonderful, rare and unique items for his numerous customers. 
      Textile Artifacts carries textile art & related materials procured from all over the world.  Our ever-changing inventory spans numerous historical styles & periods from the 16th-20thC.   Our clients include designers, decorators and folks like you.  Our textiles have been featured in numerous movies, television shows, music videos, commercials and museums. They also enhance and decorate thousands of  homes.  All of our textiles are available for sale or for rental to the trade.
